Mamba’s club teams serve boys in the 12U–18U divisions who want to improve, compete, and grow as teammates. Youth Academy and group or private lessons offer additional ways to get involved.

Mamba practices at Center Court Sports Complex, 815 Northview Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188. The facility has eight courts under one roof.

15U–18U tryouts are Saturday, November 7, 2026, starting at 12:30 PM at Arrowhead High School in Hartland, WI, and Sunday, November 8, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM at Center Court Sports Complex in Waukesha, WI. Check the registration page for fees and arrival instructions.

We understand that tryouts may overlap with other programs or family commitments. Athletes may attend either of our two scheduled tryout dates. We recommend attending both so our coaches have more opportunities to evaluate your athlete, but both days are not required.

Yes. A Badger Region membership is required for tryouts, and athletes should bring proof of membership.

Bring a filled water bottle and volleyball gear, allow time to check in, and come ready to listen, learn, and support teammates. Our Tryout Preparation guide includes ten athlete tips and practical guidance for parents.

Coaches evaluate volleyball skill, movement, effort, communication, competitiveness, response to feedback, and how each athlete contributes to the group.

At 15U–18U, your son will be considered for placement on one of the three teams available in his age group. If your family wants to be considered only for a Regional team, select the Regional-only option during registration.

Families receive an offer or follow-up communication by email. Instructions for securing an offered roster position are included in that communication.

Tryout registration fees are non-refundable unless Mamba cancels the registered session.

Choose the registration card for your athlete’s age division in the Tryouts section. Separate registration links are provided for 12U–14U and 15U–18U.

Mamba offers Regional and National/Travel pathways. The younger Regional teams are 12U Black, 12U Purple, 13U Black, 13U Purple, 14U Black, and 14U Purple. A Gold team may be added at any of these ages if registration numbers and roster fit support an additional team. The 14U pathway may include a Nationals extension. At 15U–18U, Gold teams are Regional and Black and Purple teams are National/Travel. Placement depends on age, team fit, roster availability, and the competition structure for that season.

Gold teams are Regional. A 12U–14U Gold team may be added if needed. The 15–17 Gold teams finish the first weekend in June, while 18 Gold finishes in March.

15 Gold, 16 Gold, and 17 Gold are Regional teams built around advanced training and high-level competition. Tournament travel is generally within three hours of Waukesha, and the season concludes with the Mamba Nationals Warm Up during the first weekend in June.

The 15U–18U Black and Purple teams are National/Travel teams built for high-level regional and national competition.

12U–14U Regional teams and 18 Gold play from November through March. The 15 Gold, 16 Gold, and 17 Gold Regional teams finish at the Mamba Nationals Warm Up during the first weekend in June. National/Travel teams finish at JVA Nationals in St. Louis. The 14U Nationals extension is available when offered.

Mamba teams typically practice twice each week for two hours per practice during the club season.

Mamba’s 2026–27 schedule is designed to provide a high-level Tier 1 tournament schedule while limiting the amount of air travel required of families. The current schedule includes only one tournament requiring air travel, with most events located within driving distance. Tournament schedules and travel requirements vary by team and remain subject to change. Travel, lodging, meals, parking, and transportation are the financial responsibility of each family. Mamba offers payment plans for club tuition.

Designated National/Travel teams attend JVA Nationals in St. Louis. The 15 Gold, 16 Gold, and 17 Gold Regional teams conclude their season at the Mamba Nationals Warm Up during the first weekend in June.

No. Tournament-related travel, lodging, meals, parking, and transportation are the financial responsibility of each family and are not included in club tuition. Specific travel requirements vary by team and tournament schedule.

Mamba develops the player and the person. Volleyball training is paired with expectations around mindset, accountability, mastery, team bond, attitude, and adaptability.

Yes. Mamba invests in Maxwell Leadership training and guest speakers as part of developing the athlete and the person. Topics include how to reset after a mistake, learning how to lead, growth mindset vs. fixed mindset, and goal setting. Athletes connect these lessons to refocusing for the next play, supporting teammates, applying feedback, and building daily habits that support their goals. Guest speakers, including WON80, reinforce lessons in leadership, character, and sportsmanship that athletes can carry into school, relationships, and life beyond volleyball.

From 2024 to 2026, 30 Mamba athletes went on to play collegiate volleyball in NCAA and NAIA programs.

Mamba communicates offers, registration steps, schedules, and other team information by email. Families should provide an email address they check regularly.
